About us
It all began
from three
Three names. Three stories. One shared vision.
Behind the door, Giovanni and Cristina.
I Tre Monelli began with something simple: three names, three family histories and the desire to bring together different places under a single banner.
before the residences
Before there were holiday homes,
There were houses.
Homes shaped by the people who have lived in them and the stories they hold.
Each with its own character. Each linked to a place, a rhythm, a different way of experiencing Sardinia.
Then we realised that what brought them together wasn’t the furnishings, the floor area or a well-taken photograph.
That was how we wanted to open the door.
With simplicity. With care. Without creating a false sense of hospitality.
This is how I Tre Monelli came about: not as a collection of accommodation options, but as a unified concept that respects the identity of each property whilst, at the same time, making guests feel part of the same world.
Care
For us, attention to detail isn’t just for show. It’s about focusing on what can make a stay easier, more enjoyable and more natural. It’s often the less obvious details that make all the difference: those that don’t demand to be noticed, but make their presence felt.
Here for you
We like everything to be easy, quick and well-organised. But we also know that there are times when a message isn’t enough. Being there means being on hand when needed, without intruding on your living space. A tip, a suggestion, a question before you arrive.
Memories
A trip isn’t remembered solely for the place where you stayed. It’s the light you see in the morning. A road taken at a leisurely pace. A table, a flavour, an evening when time seemed to slow down. We’d like I Tre Monelli to be all of this too: not the centre of the journey, but a subtle part of something worth remembering.
BEHIND THE DOOR
We are Giovanni and Cristina.
We live here.
We know when the wind changes, the days that start early, the roads to avoid in August and those to take when you’re in no hurry.
We know a Sardinia made up of some very well-known places and others that don’t need to be.
This is the Sardinia we try to share with our guests: not through rankings or set itineraries, but through the advice we’d give to someone coming to visit us.
Perhaps we’ll never meet.
Even if we only connect by message or phone, we’re always happy to offer advice
But in every home we have tried to leave behind the same saying:
You’re welcome here.
