House Rules

Make yourselves at home

We have taken great care with every room to ensure you enjoy a pleasant, comfortable and carefree stay.

We’re not keen on endless rules. We simply ask that you treat the house with respect and with the same care you would show your own home. The guidelines below are designed to protect the property, the neighbourhood and the quality of the experience for those who come after you.

Table of Contents
01 · HOUSE RULES

Wi-Fi, modems and home automation

The modem/router and the devices connected to the home automation system manage essential services within the property and must remain powered up and connected at all times, even at night and when you are temporarily away from the property.

If you experience any problems with the Wi-Fi, air conditioning or smart home devices, please contact us rather than attempting to adjust the equipment yourself. We'll be happy to help.

• Do not switch off, unplug, move or remove the modem/router or home automation devices from the socket.
• Do not reset or alter the settings on the equipment.

02 · HOUSE RULES

Suitcases and luggage

Wheels, handles and hard parts may stain, scratch or damage fabrics, mattresses and surfaces.
Please use the designated luggage areas.

The sofa is made for relaxing. The suitcases have travelled far enough.

03 · HOUSE RULES

Air conditioning, lighting and energy

Please use air conditioning and heating systems responsibly.
If any doors or windows are left open, switch off the air conditioning; when you leave the premises for several hours, avoid leaving air conditioning, heating, lights and electrical appliances switched on unnecessarily.

Modems/routers, Wi-Fi devices and home automation systems are an exception: they must always remain switched on and connected.

04 · HOUSE RULES

Kitchen

The kitchen and its equipment are at your disposal.
After use, we ask that you tidy up as normal and treat the premises with respect.

• Do not leave food left-overs lying around for long periods.
• Use household appliances, cookware and utensils correctly.
• Report faults or breakdowns promptly.

05 · HOUSE RULES

Waste Sorting and Recycling

Please help us to look after our local area by using the designated bins provided on the premises and following the instructions given.
If in doubt, please contact us: it’s better to ask one more question than to put a bag in the wrong bin.

06 · HOUSE RULES

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
Where there are suitable outdoor areas, please use only those areas and do not leave cigarette ends or ash behind.

07 · HOUSE RULES

Guests and visitors

For safety reasons and in accordance with the obligations applicable to accommodation providers, only guests who have been duly registered may stay at the accommodation.
Persons not included in the booking are not permitted to stay overnight without prior authorisation. Please contact us if you have any special requirements.

08 · HOUSE RULES

Respect for Neighbours

Your holiday should be a lovely memory for those who live nearby, too.
Please avoid loud music, shouting, rowdiness and excessive noise, particularly in the evening and at night.

09 · HOUSE RULES

Linen, beds and towels

Bed linen and towels are provided for normal use during your stay.

• Do not use towels to clean shoes, floors, vehicles or equipment.
• Do not use them to remove substances or make-up that could stain them permanently.

10 · HOUSE RULES

Furnishings and fittings

Furniture, household appliances, decorations and fittings are at your disposal. Please do not move them unless necessary, and do not take them outside unless they are specifically intended for that purpose.
If anything should accidentally break or get damaged, please let us know straight away. Accidents can happen; reporting them promptly almost always makes it possible to find the simplest solution.

11 · HOUSE RULES

Safety

When you leave the premises:
• Make sure the front door is properly closed.
• Check the doors and windows.
• Switch off lights, air conditioning and any appliances you don’t need.
• Do not leave hobs or potentially dangerous appliances unattended.
• Do not disclose your access codes to strangers.

12 · HOUSE RULES

Keys, access cards and access codes

Keys, access cards and access systems must be used exclusively by the guests named on the booking.
Do not copy them, do not pass them on, and do not disclose them to third parties.
When you check out, please follow the return instructions you have been given.

13 · HOUSE RULES

Pets

Where a booking includes pets, we ask that you take particular care with cleanliness and the furnishings.
Pets must not disturb the neighbours or cause damage to the property.
Any special requirements can be discussed with us.

14 · HOUSE RULES

Bathrooms and drains

Do not flush wipes, sanitary towels, nappies, cotton buds or any materials other than ordinary toilet paper down the toilet.
Please report any water leaks or faults immediately.

15 · HOUSE RULES

Parking

Please park only in the areas specified in the property instructions.
Where authorisations, notification of your registration number or specific procedures are required, please follow the instructions provided prior to your arrival.

16 · HOUSE RULES

Faults or problems

If anything isn’t working, please get in touch.
We’d rather receive a message even about a minor issue than discover a more serious problem later on.
• Do not carry out any work on the electrical system yourself.
• Do not tamper with modems/routers, home automation systems or air-conditioning systems.
• Do not tamper with the boiler, household appliances or other technical equipment.

17 · HOUSE RULES

Check-out

Check-out must take place by 10.00 am, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Before you set off, we would kindly ask you to:
• Check that you haven’t left any personal belongings behind.
• Switch off the lights and air conditioning.
• Close the doors and windows.
• Please place rubbish in the designated bins.
• Follow the instructions provided regarding keys or access badges.

More than just a stay. A memory.
